The existence of an exclusive e-initiative department ensures that no one at DCM feels flabbergasted at the mention of technical jargon in current usage.

It helps the children and the teachers to stay updated with latest technology, enhance their IT skills and inculcate a competitive spirit by encouraging the students to participate in online Olympiads and various other IT competitions. DCM Schools have also launched a unique capacity building programme for empowering all our teachers with the latest IT skills.

DIGITAL CLASSROOMS

E-BLOCKS, an innovative hands-on learning aid has been provided in the kindergarten classes to create a unique collaborative experience for young children that combines multimedia software and real objects.

In yet another initiative to boost technology- based learning, 3 D Smart labs have been provided to give the learners a larger-than-life informative and educational experience. It provide a unique and highly immersive experience to view concepts in a life-like format with a three dimensional view.

A large repository of 3 D animated modules and videos mapped to the school curriculum covering various subjects allows the teachers to effectively explain the lessons in a classroom. This is especially useful with a diverse set of learners as the teacher uses the 3-D content to zoom in to show the relevant visuals. The pictures can be studied in greater depth by freezing them and annotating as per the need and requirements.

VIRTUAL LEARNING

Moving a step ahead, DCM Schools have created a Virtual Reality (VR) Lab, first of its kind in Punjab to promote virtual learning. Experimental learning goes a long way in making the children understand the concepts, sparking the imagination of the children of all ages, leaving them with memories and experiences that help visualize and understand even the most complex of concepts.

WIZTECH

A one of its kind, DCM techno event is held every year to hone the IT skills of the students. They participate in various events like website designing, programming, IT Quizzes, Declamations, Power Point presentations, I Brain and E-chess, in addition to other IT events.
